Director of the Center for Science, Mathematics & Technology Education at Colorado State University, 2000 – 2004.

As Director, Dr. Geary helped secure funding for several programs, including the Center for Learning and Teaching in the West, the Digital Water Education Library, the DLESE Community Services Center, and the GLOBE Program. His lasting legacy for CSMATE was attracting such talented people as Dr. Andrew Warnock and Jaime Whitlock to CSMATE.

Dr. Geary left CSU in 2004 to become the Director of the GLOBE Program at UCAR in Boulder. He is now the director of the SMATE program at Western Washington University.
